The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of two arrests made in a Drug Trafficking and Firearm investigation.
It is alleged that:
- a man and a youth were involved in trafficking illicit drugs throughout the city and were in possession of an illegal firearm
It is further alleged that:
- On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, members of the Toronto Police Drug Squad executed a search warrant at a residence
- a loaded Glock 43 semiautomatic handgun, approximately 1670 grams of cocaine, 40 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 12 grams of fentanyl, approximately 133 grams of psilocybin, $7,590 CAD, $100 USD, a taser, three cell phones, packaging and digital scales were located and seized
Michael-Ryan Bond, 37, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
- Three Counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of Prohibited Weapon
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 402.
A male youth, 17*, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
- Three Counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing Possession is Unauthorized
- Careless Storage of a Firearm
- Possession of prohibited weapon
- Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 10 a.m., in room 105.
