(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) -On May 3, 2014 at approximately 4:55 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to an armed robbery at the Macs Convenience Store located on Elora Street South, Harriston. A lone male entered the store and presented a weapon. He threatened the clerk and made off with cash and cigarettes.
The suspect is described as:
Younger male
Mid 20’s
5â€Â7
Camouflage clothing
Black balaclava
The male left the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The Wellington County OPP Crime Unit is investigating this incident, along with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine, and the West Region Forensic Identification Unit.
