(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service is partnering with Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services again this year for their 14th Annual “Footsteps for Recovery†Walkathon, which raises funds to improve treatment for people with addiction and concurrent mental health issues.
This year’s walkathon will be taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre, 102 Greenview Avenue. Registration begins at 9:45 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 10:30 a.m.
Ottawa Police Chief Charles Bordeleau will be on-site and participating in the Walkathon.
