Two car collision

On May 8, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a personal injury collision at the intersection of Willow Road and Westwood Road. It is alleged that a 2009 Hyundai, being driven by a 36-year-old Oshawa female and a 2006 Pontiac being driven by a 43-year-old Guelph male collided in a “T-bone” style of impact. The force of this impact sent the Hyundai off the roadway and onto the Boulevard of Westwood Public School. The driver of the Hyundai who is pregnant and her two children as well as the driver of the Pontiac were all transported to Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were demolished with an estimated value in excess of $11,000. The Hyundai driver has been charged with disobeying a red traffic signal.
