(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday June 27, 2014, shortly before 9:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to Perth Line 36 near Sebringville, where a male on an E-Bike was observed weaving all over the road and falling off his bike.
Police located the male who displayed obvious signs of impairment. The male was arrested and transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville, where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Jerome CONNOLLY (54) of Stratford has been charged with “driving while ability impairedâ€Â, and “driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in bloodâ€Â. He is to appear at the Stratford Court of Justice on July 28, 2014 to answer to these charges. He was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
