(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation on March 26, 2024.
On March 26, 2024 at approximately 00:27 am, officers conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle on Highway 7 (near Highway 35). An impaired driving investigation commenced.
Nicole Sawyer 45 years old of Keswick was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus
The accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.
