(CALEDON, ON) - Members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment - Crime Unit arrested and charged an individual in relation to a sexual assault investigation in the Town of Caledon.

On September 22, 2020, police received information regarding an allegation of a sexual assault of a student by a former school supervisor. The sexual assault was reported to have taken place in 2019, while the accused was a school supervisor at the Jehovah Jireh Christian School in Caledon.

As a result of the police investigation, Patricia ADAMSON, 78, of Orangeville, has been charged with:

Sexual interference - five counts;
Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age - five counts; and
Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age - five counts.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on a later date to answer to the charges.
