Three Vehicle Collision - One Deceased

(TOWNSHIP OF ZORRA, ON) - On November 13, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 2 (Dundas Street) and 29th Line, north-east of Thamesford. It was reported that a mini-van, pickup truck and a tractor trailer had collided at the intersection and multiple occupants were injured.

Emergency Service responded. A local adult female, operating the mini-van, was transported by air ambulance to a trauma centre and was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the pickup was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated at scene with minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and the roadway will remain closed until further notice.
