29 Year Old From North Huron Facing Methamphetamine Charge - GILKINSON

(HOWICK, ON) - A 29-year-old driver is facing a drug possession charge following her arrest early this morning.
At approximately 3:35 a.m. Huron County and Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch north of Fordwich on Harriston Road.
Upon arrival the investigating officer found an uninjured female sitting in the driver's seat. Upon checking her identification it was learned she was wanted for an outstanding offence from Wellington County. As such she was placed under arrest and was searched. A search incident to arrest found the driver to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Jamie-Lynn GILKINSON, 29 years of age from North Huron has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine. She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 25, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
