Exeter Pool/Washroom Project Update

Source: South Huron
Date: Wed Jul 11 08:27:13 MST 2018

Construction work on the Exeter Pool is progressing as planned, however, due to shipping delays of key components, the Municipality has been forced to push the opening date to late July.

Municipal staff are contacting registered pool users affected by this delay to accommodate their needs in a revised swimming lesson schedule. The Municipality will continue to notify the public about the project’s status and of any further impacts to community services.

The new Myrtha Pool RenovAction Solution is a best-in-class product that will provide decades of service to the residents of South Huron. The Municipality sincerely appreciates the community’s patience while we work to finish upgrading this valuable community asset. Follow us on Facebook @ActiveSouthHuron.

In November of 2017, South Huron Council approved a plan to upgrade the Exeter Pool. The main upgrades of this project include a new pool system provided by Myrtha Pools, a refurbished pool deck and a new washroom facility.
