Goderich Road Rage Ends With Arrest Of Joseph TREBISH

(GODERICH, ON) - A Goderich resident is facing charges after a road rage incident took place this weekend in Goderich.
On Sunday, September 20, 2020 at approximately 2:50 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Bayfield Road to investigate a possible road rage incident. Upon speaking with the victim police learned the accused took exception with the vicitim's driving and began honking at him because he was slow to respond to a green light.
When both drivers parked their vehicles in a parking lot off of Bayfield Road the accused proceeded to approach the victim holding a snow brush in a threatening manner. The accused also threatened the victim before he took off.
Officers were able to locate the accused shortly thereafter and he was taken into custody without incident.
Joseph TREBISH, 57 years of age, from Goderich has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Utter Threats. He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for November 23, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
