Fatal Collision - Victim's Vehicle Found Partially Submerged

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - One person has died as a result of a single vehicle collision in Central Huron yesterday (Aug09).
The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted on August 9 2020, by concerned family members after the victim failed to return home after working late in the fields.
Just after 12:30 p.m., the victim's vehicle was located upside down and partially submerged in a creek off the roadway on Bandon Line, in the Municipality of Central Huron. One occupant was in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Huron Emergency Medical Services and Central Huron Fire Department also responded to the scene.
OPP officers attempted lifesaving measures, but unfortunately, the driver was confirmed deceased at the scene. He has been identified as 67 year old Clayton RILEY, of Seaforth.
Investigators from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting with the collision investigation.
