More Stunt Drivers Charged

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On July 1st, 2020 (Canada Day) Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged another three motorists for stunt driving on Highway 6, north of Wiarton, in South Bruce Peninsula.

All of these drivers were charged with stunt driving - 50kilometres per hour (km/h) or more over posted speed limit, contrary to section 172(1) Highway Traffic Act.

Sundip JOHAL, 27 years-of-age, from Caledon, ON was travelling over 140km/h in a black Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in this posted 80 km/h zone.

Gordon PALMER, 63 years-of-age, from Markdale, ON was travelling over 135km/h in a silver mini-van in this posted 80 km/h zone.

Cavin ARSENAULT, 25 years-of-age, from Brantford, ON was travelling over 140km/h in black SUV in this posted 80 km/h zone.

All of these drivers were issued a 7 day drivers licence suspension and their vehicles were towed and will be impounded for 7 days.
