Methamphetamine Bust In Goderich - Perry BAKKER

(GODERICH, ON) - A Goderich resident will be making a trip to court this summer after he was caught this past weekend in possession of some illegal drugs.

On Friday, May 22, 2020 at approximately 7:47 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling on Victoria Street in Goderich when he observed a known wanted male out walking. The officer stopped the male and informed him that he was wanted for an outstanding breach of probation offence. An arrest was conducted and a search incident to arrest revealed the accused to be in possession of some illegal drugs.

Perry BAKKER, 34 years of age, from Goderich has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone, Fail to Comply with a Release Order and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order.

He has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 17, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich.
