$70,000 Trailer Stolen

(SOUTH HURON, ON) - Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the recent theft of a fifth wheel travel trailer that was stolen last week from a property near Whalen Corners.

Sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020 unknown suspects entered onto the Hern Line property and located the travel trailer parked behind a barn. The thieves connected on to the fifth wheel trailer and departed leaving southbound toward Highway 23.

The stolen trailer is described as a tan coloured, 2016 Jayco Northpoint model, fifth wheel travel trailer valued at $70,000.

The stolen trailer is similar to the one pictured below.
