Two Charged In Shroom BustSource: Area OPP

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERMASOA, ON) - On March 6, 2020 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) along with members of the Grey County and South Bruce OPP CSCU executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Princess Street in Rockwood.
As a result of the search warrant, officers seized a quantity of Psilocybin, a Schedule 3 Substance, also known as Magic Mushrooms.
Susanne HEPBURN, 45-years-old and Richard PIOTTO, 43-years-old, both of Guelph-Eramosa Township have been charged with Possession of a Schedule 3 Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). They are scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph to answer to their charge.
