(LEAMINGTON, ON) - On February 12, 2020, in response to an ongoing investigation of illicit drug trafficking in Leamington, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Robson Road in Leamington.

As a result, the following items were seized:
cocaine - approximately one kilogram;
approximately $20,000 in Canadian and U.S. currency;
methamphetamine - approximately 90 grams; and with
approximately $50,000 of suspected proceeds of crime, including a 2019 motor vehicle, high-end electronics and clothing.

Jesse Lee BUTT, 29-years-old of Leamington, is charged with the following offenses:
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine;
Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine; and with
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Leamington on April 2, 2020.
