17 Year Old Facing Drunk Driving Charge

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES, ON) - The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) alongside the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Oneida Road near Clara Road on January 19, 2020 around 11:30 p.m.
A lone sport utility vehicle left the roadway and rolled into the ditch. Of the three occupants in the vehicle, no one was injured.
The driver, a 17-year-old youth of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation was arrested for impaired driving and being over 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
The youth was released without incident and is to appear at the London Ontario Court of Youth Justice at a later date.
