(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) - On December 23, 2019, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Woolwich-Guelph Town Line and Lerch Road, west of the City of Guelph. A passerby had spotted what appeared to be a damaged vehicle well off the road, lodged in a wooded area. OPP responded and upon examining the scene observed a single deceased occupant in the severely damaged Ford pickup truck.

Investigators have identified David Frank Douglas WATTERS, 47-years-old of Kitchener, as the deceased. The investigation is ongoing.
