Employee Facing Fraud Charge - JOHNSTON

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On November 25, 2019 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from the Loss Prevention Management of a local business reporting a fraud. Police were advised that the business is located on Main Street in Wellington North Township and the suspect is an employee.
As a result of the investigation, Eric JOHNSTON, 25-years-old of Wellington North Township has been charged with Fraud Over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on December 31, 2019 to answer to the charge.
