Methamphetamine Bust - BRAKE, BEATTIE, WEBER & WEBER

(PERTH COUNTY, ON) - On November 27, 2019, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment, with the assistance of the Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Grey-Bruce CSCU, and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), seized a quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine from a vehicle in Perth County. Drug-trafficking paraphernalia was also seized.

On the same day, as part of the same investigation, OPP Huron-Perth CSCU executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants on separate residences in Perth East and Perth South. Police seized methamphetamine and further drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with:

Kayla BRAKE, 33-years-old of Cambridge
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
Obstruct Peace Officer

Justin BEATTIE, 38-years-old of Grand Bend
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine

Annamarie WEBER, 59-years-old of Perth East
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine

Jamie WEBER 59-years-old of Perth East
Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine
2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance
Fail to Comply with Probation Order


The value of the seized Controlled Substances is estimated at $2,700.00. Police also seized cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia valued at $7,500.00.

Jamie WEBER was held for a Bail Hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on November 28, 2019.

Kayla BRAKE, Justin BEATTIE and Annamarie WEBER are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on December 30, 2019 to answer the charges.
