Counterfeit Money In Listowel

(PERTH COUNTY, ON) - On November 19, 2019, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment investigated a counterfeit currency complaint at a Listowel business address. At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment investigated a second counterfeit currency complaint at a Perth East business address, east of Stratford.

It was determined that an unknown person entered the businesses and paid for merchandise with counterfeit American currency.
