Driver Has Vehicle Towed For Speeding

(GADS HILL, ON) - On November 7, 2019, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment, observed a motor vehicle travelling on Perth Road 119 north of Gads Hill. The vehicle was determined to be travelling at a rate of speed that exceeded the posted speed limit by 50 km/hr and was stopped by police.

Patricia MORASH, 45-years-old, of Stratford was charged with the following;

Race a motor vehicle - Excessive Speed

The driver's licence was seized and a 7 day driving suspension was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded as per statute.

The driver is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on December 10, 2019 to answer the charge.
