Repeat Offender Caught After Pot Plant Stolen - KOSTAL

(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - On September 23, 2019, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft that had occurred at a residence on Queen Street West in the town of Mount Forest. It was reported that surveillance cameras had identified a known male damaging a fence, trespassing into the yard and stealing a quantity of planted cannabis from a private dwelling.
As a result of the investigation Gordon William (Gord) KOSTAL, 38-years-old of Mount Forest, has been charged with Theft under $5000, Mischief under $5000, Break and Enter, Trespass by Night and Breaching a Probation Order. The accused was held for bail.
