Knife Attack In Mitchell - CHRISTOPHER Arrested

(MITCHELL, ON) - On September 9, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment responded to the report of a male assaulted with a knife in Mitchell.
Police responded quickly and an injured male was located and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers learned that a verbal altercation escalated into an assault. A male was arrested a short time later.
Carlton CHRISTOPHER, 33-years-old, of West Perth was arrested and charged with:
Aggravated Assault.
The male was held for a bail hearing and was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on September 10, 2019 to answer the charge.
