18 Year Old Caught Going 50+ Over Speed Limit Has Vehicle ImpoundedSource: Area OPP

(DUBLIN, ON) - On August 23, 2019, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Perth detachment, observed a motor vehicle travelling on Perth Line 34, west of Dublin. The vehicle was determined to be travelling at a rate of speed that exceeded the posted speed limit by 50 km/hr and were stopped by police.
Blake GOTTSCHALK, 18-years-old, of West Perth was charged with racing. His driver's licence was seized and a driving suspension was imposed. The vehicle was towed and impounded, and he is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford at a later date to answer the charge.
