25 Year Old Caught Going 2X Speed Limit

(BROCKTON, ON) - On May 18, 2019 just after 7:00 p.m. a member of the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducting speed enforcement on Bruce Road 3 in Brockton, Ontario, when a vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed.

The officer confirmed his visual observations with a RADAR device and was able to obtain a speed measurement of the racing vehicle at a speed that was double the posted speed limit.

The driver Spencer YOUNG, 25-years-old, of London has been charged with "Drive a Motor Vehicle -Perform a Stunt (Speeding in Excess of 50 km/h)" resulting in a seven day driver's license suspension and a seven day vehicle impoundment.
