$15,000 In Damage To Pickup Truck After Water Poured In Gas Tank

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - On Saturday, May 11, 2019, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated a mischief at a Windham Road 11, Windham, Norfolk County address.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that between Wednesday, May 8, 2019 and Saturday, May 11, 2019, unknowns attended the address and proceeded to pour a quantity of water into the gas tank of a pickup truck that was parked on the property.
The damage is estimated at approximately $15,000.
The OPP want to remind all residents that if they see anything suspicious to please contact the police immediately. If anyone is found committing acts of mischief, appropriate charges will be laid.
