Arrest Made In Clinton Break And Enter - MAIZE

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) - A 36-year-old male from Clinton is facing two charges following an occurrence that took place in Clinton earlier this month.
Shortly after 10:00 a.m. on April 7, 2019 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a laundromat located on Princess Street East in Clinton for a break and enter in progress.
Officers arrived on scene and searched the premise without initially finding the suspect. However, minutes later the suspect was located and arrested outside of the business. Upon arrest police searched the male and found him to be in possession of a bag of unmarked cigarettes.
Damien MAIZE, 36 years of age from Clinton has been charged with Break and Enter and Possess Unmarked Fine Cut Tobacco. He was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on May 6, 2019.
