Collision In Drive Thru Leads To Arrest

(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) - On December 12, 2018, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on private property.
Upon arrival, police located a transport truck that had crashed into a post while attempting to use the drive thru at a coffee shop located at 28000 block of Centre Road in Adelaide Metcalfe.
Upon further investigation, police determined that the 45-year-old driver of the motor vehicle had consumed alcohol and was placed under arrest.
As a result of the police investigation, James YODER, of Haleyville, Alabama has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on January 31, 2019.
