Serious Collision On Hwy 8

(PERTH EAST, ON) - On December 6, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving five motor vehicles on Highway 8, just east of Stratford. It was reported that an east bound transport collided with 3 cars and 1 minivan.
OPP along with Perth East Fire Department and Perth County Paramedic Service attended the scene. 6 people were transported to a local hospital. 1 of the involved injured persons was later transported to a London hospital.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and the roadway will remain closed until further notice.
